Il new vintage di Kiel James Patrick

Ho sempre avuto un rifiuto categorico per lo stile marinaretto visto che la mia mami per anni, appena le giornate iniziavano a farsi più calde, dava libero sfogo alla sua mania per il blue marine comprandomi vestitini blu e tshirt a righe bianche e blu con l'immancabile ancora dorata.
Nel mio girovagare internettiano mi sono imbattuta nel sito di un giovane designer che ha saputo reinventare ciò che odiavo in qualcosa di interessante.

Kiel James Patrick è un designer di accessori per uomo e donna che segue il filone del new vintage e propone oggetti interamente realizzati a mano che, grazie alla loro semplicità, sono diventati dei must have per i preppy addicted.Tutto i suoi modelli sono un evoluzione dei bracciali in corda nautica annodati intorno al polso all'inizio dell'estate per poi essere tagliati alla sua fine.

Voglio consigliarvi tre oggetti che mi sono particolarmente piaciuti:

Triton Collection & Turk's Head Knot Rope Bracelets

I bracciali sono il prodotto di punta del brand e queste due collezioni sono quelle che più mi hanno colpito.
Entrambi i modelli sono contraddistinti dall'ancora dorata che fa da chiusura.

Papillon maschile sportivo adatto ad un look da giorno dai colori vivaci. Da notare il lietmotiv della corda nautica tipico di KJP .

Overboard Knot Earrings

Per ultimo questi orecchini che,oltre alla particolarità della corda nautica, sono l'unico prodotto di questo genere del giovane designer.

In my wanderings I came across the site of a young designer who has managed to reinvent what I hated into something interesting.


Kiel James Patrick is a designer of accessories for men and woman who follows the trend of the new vintage and offers items​​entirely handmade, thanks to their simplicity, have become must-have for preppy addicted.
